Who are eligible to write a review

In the process of requesting reviews, it is crucial to ensure that your approach and language are neutral, fair, and free from bias. One effective method is to ask reviewers to provide a reference number alongside their review, which can assist in pinpointing particular experiences.

It is advisable to avoid offering any form of incentives, including discounts, monetary rewards, loyalty points, gifts, coupons, or referral bonuses, when inviting reviews. Moreover, collecting reviews on company premises is prohibited without obtaining prior consent. Customers should also not be encouraged to use your devices, such as an iPad, to leave feedback regarding your company.

Don't Write a Fake or Biased Review

It is imperative that individuals refrain from fabricating experiences or composing reviews on behalf of others; it is essential that each person articulates their own perspective. Furthermore, if you have a close affiliation with, are employed by, or are in direct competition with a specific organization, it is inappropriate for you to provide a review of that entity.

Reviews are Owned by Reviewers

Review ownership lies with the individual who composed it. Reviewers possess the ability to edit or delete their reviews whenever they choose and may post additional reviews if they have encountered your business multiple times. Nonetheless, they are not required to amend their reviews even if circumstances change, such as the issuance of a refund. It is unacceptable to pressure reviewers or to offer them incentives to modify or delete their reviews.

Flagging Reviews

All users have the ability to flag reviews. While we do not actively moderate reviews, any individual can report those that violate our guidelines. Utilizing your business account, you may flag reviews for various reasons, although personal dislike of a review is not an acceptable justification.

We will evaluate the flagged review solely based on the specified reason. If a flagged review is found to be in violation of our guidelines and can be amended, the reviewer will be given the chance to revise it. During this evaluation, the review may be temporarily hidden. If the issue remains unresolved or cannot be rectified, the review will typically remain offline.

When flagging reviews, it is essential to maintain fairness and consistency; this entails flagging 5-star reviews for the same reasons as 1-star reviews. A public version of your report will be made available, allowing others to understand the rationale behind your flagging. For the sake of transparency, all flagging activities will also be visible on your business profile page.
